By the way I missed out some odd sizes cos I got fed up putting in options but those are the most common.

Next question is have you changed up or down and did you notice any difference?

I like big wheels cos they're faster in parks/bigger ramps so am going to go back up to 60mm from the 56s

Not all that straight forward cos the anwser was 63.5 when I got them and you havn't allowed for that.

And they are quite a bit smaller now but I'm not going out to the car to measure them! I'd guess 58ish

i had 39mm's and i couldnt get and speed in the bowls so one of my mates recommended that i go larger.

I bought a set of 55mm's and the difference is quite astonishing. i can now ollie higher and further because i have more balance on the board. i can pump way faster now so all is good.

I notice that most use 56mm......not bad. i really hate those stupid little wheels that barely even come off the bearing..what are they about man?

I used to build minis and they were rapid off the mark but hopeless at top speed - the size of the wheel was a big part of it (and the lack of any engine)but the big wheels roar once you're up and moving hence the big dawgs on the vert.

I always presumed people liked wee wee wheels for street cos they were closer to the grund - nes pas?

If you're like me and could give a hoot for an ollie then hat's not ncessary.

i like ollieing and i find it easier with the big wheels. i get a bigger pop and when i land, i dont get that weird feeling like the board is ready to fly away from yer feet. Laughing

My wheels are (well were) 50mm because when I got them I was really new to skating (yup, the've lasted a long time) and I imediatly thought I wanted to be a street skater. Which now I realise is rubbish considering I'm always comlaining I can't get enough speed. Next time I get new wheels I'll get say, 55mm?
